The new Trumann Elementary School is a K-4 elementary school that replaces an outdated facility originally built in the 1960’s.
The school is structured around one main central building which connects seven separate wings. There are individual wings for each school year, from kindergarten through fourth grade, each with its own hardened storm area. In addition, there is a separate physical education and gym win; cafeteria and kitchen wing; and art, reading, and music wing. The cafeteria also features a stage for performances. Additionally, there are classrooms for special education classes, occupational therapy , and physical therapy, bringing the total classroom count to 36.
