NorthWest Arkansas Community College Center for Health Professions

This 81,050-square-foot facility is a LEED Silver certified center for health professions. It features state-of-the-art simulation labs to benefit collaborative learning between health profession disciplines; a paramedic classroom with a real ambulance inside to train the loading of patients in close quarters; and student study and social lounge areas to promote interaction and camaraderie between students.

An interesting bit of history with this client: Nabholz Construction Services built the very first building on the campus, which is the main administration and classroom building. Before that project, the college was known across this region as the “college without walls.” The new building gave the campus a “real” footprint and the college has been expanding ever since.
