Devil Dog Arena

The Devil Dog Arena in Morrilton is not just a school gymnasium, but a community center. The roughly 68,000-square-foot facility is now the new home for the area’s athletic, ceremonial, and community events.

We utilized a combination of pre-engineered metal and structural precast concrete to construct the shell of the arena. A variety of finishes provided original touches throughout, including custom millwork, tectum wall panels, vinyl wall graphics, multi-color porcelain tile walls, and stainless-steel handrails.  Polished concrete flooring with glass aggregate shines in the entrance and leads to practice court, locker rooms, a weight room, a cheer/dance rehearsal room, administration offices, concessions, a hospitality suite, and the main court.

The open expanse of the main arena contains a mix of 2,265 fixed and telescopic seats, precast concrete bleachers, and state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment. A practice gym serves double duty as a 6,000-square-foot safe room also open for community use.
