Crooked Oak Public Schools

For a multi-phase renovation and new construction program, Crooked Oak Public Schools selected Nabholz to provide Owner’s Representative services to the district during the planning phase of the multi-campus program. Nabholz assisted with the following aspects of the planning process: site evaluations, zoning and code research, jurisdiction identification and requirements, the development of a master plan, environmental testing, geotechnical investigation, the evaluation and selection of architect and engineering consultants, and the selection and evaluation of the subcontractor for the project.

Once the program moved into the design, preconstruction, and construction phases, Nabholz also served as the Construction Manager-at-Risk. The campus-wide renovation project features included a new elementary school; elementary classroom additions; renovations to house high school classrooms; demolition of the high school; commons area additions; new entrances, canopies, walkways, exterior seating, and landscape improvements; new roads and parking; utilities to accommodate new construction; new bus routes; new parent pick-up and drop-off routes; renovation of the existing offsite building to house administration offices and a board room; a new cafeteria/auditorium; renovation of the administration building for temporary class rooms; and the renovation of the maintenance building to house the ROTC program.
