Doyle Phillips, CPE
We’re excited to announce that Preconstruction Manager Doyle T. Phillips, CPE, has been chosen by the Associated General Contractors Education and Research Foundation to co-author a case study on Sub-contractor Collusion/Bid Day Ethics. Doyle, along with Associate Professor Dr. Haiyan Xie of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, worked collaboratively on the proposal for the case study that was submitted to the AGC Education and Research Foundation in early 2012.
The Associated General Contractors Education and Research Foundation, as part of a new initiative, began commissioning case studies in early 2012. The case studies were to be written by a faculty member of an educational institution and an industry professional. Mr. Phillips’ and Dr. Xie’s proposal was accepted in January 2013. The case study is to be completed by December 2013.
Doyle, who has been in the construction industry for more than 20 years, recently joined Nabholz in our Oklahoma City office after serving as Chief Estimator for another large construction company for over 11 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management and a Master of Science degree in Education, and is working to complete his Doctoral degree. Doyle currently serves as First Vice President of the American Society of Professional Estimators.
Doyle’s participation as co-author of this case study is a great example of how we at Nabholz are leading, learning, innovating and serving in 2013.
